FOCUSED EXPERTISE
The cooperation with partners in economy and science is of essential importance for the development of all high technology. Therefore, we are involved in a variety of information and communication networks as well as in national and international cooperations.
The increasing importance of photonics is reflected in the development of manifold institutions, networks and support programs. Thus, we are engaged in the Bavarian network of expertise, bayern photonics e.V., and we cooperate closely with the institute of excellence Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies (SAOT) in Erlangen. Furthermore, Erlangen focuses on medical engineering, where we also cooperate with a multitude of partners.
In order to be prepared for the future, we are expanding our international cooperations. Therefore, the establishment of a testing and advisory center for laser technology in Saint Petersburg (Russia), as well as cooperation with the Institute National d’Optique INO in Quebec City (Canada) are important milestones.
