New laser sources with excellent beam characteristics offer high-precision micro-machining of materials. Linked with high-efficiency ablation and by innovative processes we are also able to optimally process materials, which are highly sensitive in respect of thermal attributes, and to generate free-form geometries.
Our modern short-pulsed and ultra-short-pulsed lasers enable us to process various materials. The structuring and modification of surface as well as the well-directed shaping and adjustment of micro-components are thereby typical challenges and fields of expertise.
With the aim of competing directly with classical micro-processing techniques, we work on even faster and more precise processes. With the help of the transformation by micro-shock waves and the internal structuring and welding of glass, new processes, which have no equivalent in classical material processing, are to be transferred into application.
