The publication series User Handbooks was established in October 2004 as a new product from the range of transfer activities with the title Laser Welding of Thermoplastics.
It is the aim of the handbook series to illustrate the fundamentals of laser technology and its fascinating applications to readers with little specific previous knowledge in the field of optical technologies. Each volume of the series addresses one particular topic. The handbooks provide a first insight into the respective topics, with illustrative graphics and without claiming to formulate continuously scientific.
