Since 1994 the Bavarian Laser Centre and the Chair of Manufacturing Technology have been hosting the international conference Laser Assisted Net Shape Engineering – LANE every three years. It is the goal of the conference series to create a discussion forum in the field of laser assisted production technologies for researchers, developers and users from all over the world. The conference is to promote the application of new technologies and inspire research for the solution of industrial challenges.
The next LANE will take place from 21st until 24th September 2010 in Erlangen.
