Ein außergewöhnlich starkes Schneeaufkommen stellt die Menschen in Erlangen aktuell vor große Herausforderungen. Die Straßen sind nur eingeschränkt befahrbar, der Alltag gerät ins Stocken. Am Bayerischen Laserzentrum zeigt sich einmal mehr: Auch unter schwierigen äußeren Bedingungen bleibt das Institut arbeitsfähig – vor allem auch dank des großen Engagements aller Kolleginnen und Kollegen.

7. Bayerische Laserschutztage: Gelungener „Laserschutzauftakt“ ins Jahr 2026

Mit den 7. Bayerischen Laserschutztagen sind wir Mitte Januar erfolgreich ins neue Laserschutzjahr gestartet. Veranstaltungsort war der Flughafen Nürnberg, der für zwei Tage erneut einen idealen Rahmen für den intensiven fachlichen Austausch rund um den sicheren Einsatz von Lasertechnik bot. Die große Resonanz zeigt: Laserschutz bleibt ein zentrales Thema für Industrie und Forschung.

    No, Bayerische Laserzentrum GmbH was founded in 1993 as a non-profit research company. Since then, we have been privately organized.

  • Does the Bavarian Laser Center belong to the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU)?

    No, the Bavarian Laser Center and FAU are two separate institutions. However, there is a close partnership with FAU, specifically with the Chair of Photonic Technologies.

  • What is the purpose of the Bavarian Laser Center?

    Since 1993, we have been developing new fields of application for laser beam tools, acting as an interface between academic basic research and industrial application. The revenues generated in research and development projects are used to refinance our research endeavors.
