Founded in 1993 with the aim of supporting the transfer of laser technology into industry, we have been intensively involved in all processes in which lasers play a major role for more than 30 years now.

Mit dem Heiligabend öffnet sich das letzte Türchen unseres digitalen Adventskalenders. Für uns ist das ein schöner Anlass, kurz innezuhalten und auf die vergangenen Wochen – und das gesamte Jahr – zurückzublicken. Der Adventskalender hat gezeigt, wie vielfältig, lebendig und engagiert das blz ist: von Forschungsprojekten über Veranstaltungen und wissenschaftlich-technische Infrastruktur bis hin zu den Kolleginnen und Kollegen, die unsere Arbeit täglich prägen.

Noch vor Weihnachten gibt es am blz eine kleine „Bescherung“: Der Jahresbericht 2025 ist veröffentlicht, in deutscher und englischer Sprache verfügbar und bietet einen kompakten, zugleich vielseitigen Rückblick auf das vergangene Jahr. In neuer Gestaltung fasst er zusammen, was das blz in Erlangen fachlich, strategisch und menschlich geprägt hat – und zeigt, wie breit das Themenspektrum unserer Arbeit ist.
