What are the opening hours of the Bavarian Laser Center?
The Bavarian Laser Center is usually open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays and from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays.

For questions regarding laser material processing of metallic materials, Dr. Dominic Bartels is available to assist you. For processing non-metallic materials, Dr. Sebastian-Paul Kopp will be happy to hear from you. For all inquiries concerning laser safety and testing laboratories, please contact Dr. Hans-Joachim Krauß.
Is the Bavarian Laser Center connected to public transport?
Yes. Our premises are about 2 km from Erlangen main train station and can be reached from there without changing buses, e.g. line 284 (towards Sieglitzhof/Eskilstunastr., stop Berufschulzentrum) or 294 (towards Sieglitzhof/Eskilstunastr., stop Doris-Ruppenstein-St.).
What do I need to be aware of if I'm arriving by car?
The Bavarian Laser Center is easily accessible from the A3 motorway (Erlangen-Tennenlohe exit) and the A73 motorway (Erlangen-Zentrum exit). Ample parking is available along the building.
Are the premises of the Bavarian Laser Center accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, they are. We have a ramp that provides barrier-free access to the Bavarian Laser Center. There are no stairs or other obstacles inside the building.
