Type of event:
Training course on technical safety concepts for industrial laser systems, covering both theory and practice. This event qualifies as continuing education for occupational safety specialists as defined in Section 5, Paragraph 3. ASiG as well as for laser safety officers according to § 5 para. 2 OStrVIt is driven by the VDSI eV Recognized and awarded 2 VDSI continuing education points for occupational safety.
Training objective:
Providing information on technical/constructive possibilities and safety concepts to ensure laser safety when operating high-power lasers in material processing.
Target audience:
Manufacturers and operators of high-performance laser systems in material processing, specifically, for example:
- For manufacturers: project managers, designers, product safety and quality management officers, safety engineers, purchasing managers
